Stockists of Fusion Mineral Paint & Iron Orchid Designs. Why?
Having a long history of refurbishing homes and furniture on a budget, meant we tried lots and lots of brands of paint and other decor items to achieve this.
We Having a long finally ended up with the Canadian Fusion Mineral Paint as our “go to” brand for furniture and any other item that sat still long enough to paint. We love the brand for its easy one step application, minimal prep, quality and results, it also has a built-in top coat! (no waxing unless you want to create a finish such as aging or liming). Its price – $8.00 for a tester pot and $40.00 for a 400ml pot – is great value (a little goes a long way), it has high quality pigments and its lack of VOC’s* make it a winner on many levels (no more stinky paint, safe to use indoors and for children’s items).
We truly admire the passion of its creators, a family company Homestead House, with great ethics, who have also created a range of finishes to compliment this product, metallics, glazes, oils, even a range of colours for babies and children “tones for tots”, and so much more.
Our search for new and exciting things to use on furniture, fabrics etc to make them unique and affordable led us to another brand, Iron Orchid Designs, from America, which we had seen only on those cute Pinterest posts and YouTube videos where everything looks so cool and you wonder if it really is as easy to make as it says…….
Well Yes, it really was! Iron Orchid Designs – created by two incredibly talented sisters with a passion for all things vintage and DIY – is a range of products and tools that help people transform their homes in a unique and creative way.

We also cater for small private group bookings and 1:1 workshops on request – Bring a bottle and some friends for a fun night creating and chatting.
